Courtyard Garden, Hackney

The clients asked me to draw up plans for an elegant, contemporary courtyard garden that connected their upstairs balcony to a contemporary, peaceful outdoor sanctuary. Using a spiral staircase to maximise space, this design centres four multistem topiary trees, low maintenance planting and a gently babbling corten steel fountain, complete with dining & sunbathing areas.
