The clients asked for a contemporary feel with dining and evening terraces, large kitchen garden and water feature, a space suitable for occasional entertaining and quiet contemplation. A diagonal route of flow made the garden feel bigger, while rough sawn timber and steel pergolas were softened with low maintenance, colourful planting in muted peaches, yellows and lilacs.
